Loyal supporters of the actress are urging that a person who leaped a barrier and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip shows the Australian man bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains clips of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the end of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another response on Instagram.

A number of fans also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Many of Singapore fans had waited to greet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had congregated in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the second of a two-film version of the acclaimed stage show Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, winning several for excellent wardrobe and production design.
