Netflix Selects Perfect Star for Bentham in the Hit Series Third Season
Baroque Works is poised to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the real showdown won’t unfold until season 3, and a adored, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.
The platform declared Tuesday that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Mr. 2. Bon Clay can use their power to change into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that role reinterpreted as non-binary, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and cartoon version.
This performer joins several other new cast members who will portray the organization to life, such as head the main antagonist, portrayed by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the lineup as the monarch of the desert kingdom.
Though this character is a major member of Baroque Works, the individual will be introduced in One Piece season 3. Considering season 2 set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a significant shift in the schedule of the character’s debut, one that could suggest further changes to the narrative framework.
